12 hours in Jerusalem - the must-visit places

What to do with 12 hours in Jerusalem! Historically and biblically important, this amazing city is usually the first stop for travelers in Israel. How can you see all the highlights in just a short time? We really recommend visitors to spend two or three days here because it's really hard to put everything into one day. Jerusalem is also an excellent home base for tours around the area as many of them include the option to start here.

At the top of Jerusalem's popular bucket list, we also put together our suggested itinerary for a day or two experience in Jerusalem:

One day route in the morning

Jerusalem

Remember, you only have 12 hours in Jerusalem, so wake up early so you can make the most of the day. We recommend that a one-day tour of Jerusalem is the best way to get to know the city because it will present you with the highlights in an easy-to-digest way. Go to the Jaffa Gate to enter the Old City. Dress modestly as some religious sites require that the shoulders and knees of women and men's heads be covered with respect. The Old City is divided into four quarters: Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Armenian. When navigating the narrow streets of the Old City, a map will not be very helpful, but there are various signs that will direct you in the right direction of major sites. If you really get lost, so in order not to get involved, we have included the guide Ofir Akiva for a fascinating tour of Mount Zion.

Afterwards we went on a Segui walk with the Segui company in the city, we walked along the Harmon Hanatziv promenade combined with explanations from the close guide who was with us, was awesome.

At this point we got really hungry, we drove to Mamilla Boulevard, to the well-known Kafa Rimon restaurant in Jerusalem, we ate a meal in a fine Italian style, highly recommended.

The next stop was a culinary tour in the Judea camp, we walked to the market on foot to be hungry again and it worked. We took the tour from the company Yalla Basta.

The last and one of the most important points in Jerusalem is the Israel Museum, one of the largest museums in the world, the museum contains history, culture, art with some of the rarest exhibits in the world, of course not to be missed

Watch the video that appears here and write to us if you would like us to recommend new routes.

And of course there is much more to see in Jerusalem, we will leave that for the next video.
